The Twin Room with Lake View offered a stunning backdrop for my stay. I loved the beautiful decor and the impressive size of the room. Cleanliness was spot on, and those thoughtful touches like cutlery and placemats made a difference. The view of the loch was absolutely stunning. the duvet was too small for comfort, and I struggled with the cold temperature during the night due to an inconsistent heating system. Opening a window felt good at first, but it became too cold later on. So, while I really appreciated the lovely room and view, the sleeping arrangements left something to be desired.

The Superior King Room was spacious and the furnishings were surprisingly high quality. The outdoor seating area overlooking the loch was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration.
Self-catering options left a lot to be desired, with only a kettle and a small fridge available, and meals needing to be microwavable—definitely not suited for anyone looking to whip up a real dinner. Plus, the entryway was marred by a rather uninviting curtain, and parking felt awkward, positioned in front of an abandoned house. I also struggled with the small duvet and inconsistent heating, making for a less restful night, despite the beautiful view from the room.

The Superior King Room offers a spacious layout and quality furnishings, which make it feel comfortable for a decent night's sleep. The common area features a box for dirty washing-up—an odd but useful touch for anyone looking to keep things tidy.
Self-catering in the upstairs rooms is tricky. you get a kettle and a small fridge outside the room but it lacks adequate cooking facilities. Entering the house reveals an unwelcoming curtain blocking a private area, and parking is awkwardly positioned in front of an abandoned house. the dining options are extremely limited, with only a microwave available and a boxed-in dining table when it's not in use. This place could stand a few tweaks for better practicality.

a charming stay with easy access to stunning park views
The hotel offers a comfortable room with quality fittings and is ideally sited near attractions like the scenic Ferrycroft Visitor Centre and the breathtaking Loch Assynt, making it a perfect base for walking adventures. the spacious outdoor seating area overlooking the loch is a real treat after a day of exploration, but self-catering options could use some improvement.

Comfortable, spacious room with good quality fittings and effective blinds. Self-catering options could improve. limited cooking facilities are a drawback.

The outdoor seating area overlooking the loch was a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploration, providing a truly relaxing atmosphere.
Self-catering options were limited, primarily relying on a microwave and a small selection of microwavable meals, which may not suit all guests.

Solo traveler find peace
The room was large and comfortable, perfect for chilling after a day, and the outdoor seating with the view of the loch was just great. After exploring, I kicked back and enjoyed some quiet time, taking in the beautiful scenery, it was relaxing, if not a bit surreal.
It wasn’t exactly cheap , but still reasonable for what you get.

I loved how the room was so gorgeous and cozy. Alison even helped me with my taxi from the train station since I had a ton of luggage! The sun terrace was a fantastic spot to unwind after a long day, and the garden area had a lovely vibe to it. Just keep in mind that self-catering options are a bit limited, so plan your meals accordingly. 😊
